Tasik Cermin or Mirror Lake - A small gem hidden in Ipoh

Recently saw quite a lot of my friends post about Mirror Lake in their Facebook Or Instagram. Without any delay i do some google search, i cannot believe such beautiful place exist in Malaysia. I also finds 2 useful website that give instructions on how to get there :

Majestic and stunning view

This hidden lake is majestic and stunningly beautiful. But, it is actually illegal to go there as the active quarry sites already make it a prohibited area, and it's an "enter at your own risk" place.

You will have to park your car outside the quarry area and walked into the site, climb a small hill.

Just continue walking straight until you see a cave entrance on the right hand side.

After passing through the cave, you will arrive at the lake.

Beautiful spot for couple

There is not much things to do here except to enjoy this beautiful view. Recommended for nature lovers that love quiet place with great view.

 Few things to take note :

1. Not to be visited during rainy days it will be muddy and cannot get mirror reflection effect.
2. Go around 10am -12pm if you want take great photo
3. try not to wear high heels because you need to walk a lot on stony ground

Sekinchan Seafood - Cha Po Tion Restaurant (阿娇海鲜饭店)

If you are seafood lover then Sekinchan is a best place to hunt for fresh and affordable seafood dishes. We decide to go Cha Po Tion Seafood restaurant because quite a lot of local go there for lunch or breakfast. Better reach here before 11am to avoid jamming with tourist.

We started off with Spicy Sour Vermicelli (highly recommended dish), this dish is cooked with salty picked, tomatoes, fish slices, and fishball. You will love this dish because they use thick and smoother vermicelli. The fish meat is tender and fishball are bouncy and both are fresh. This all make the soup so flavourful. So yummy and we all like it very much.

If you love seafood, then can order seafood porridge. This bowl of seafood porridge come with tender fish slices and large mantis prawn.

Next we had shark meat porridge. This is first time we eat baby shark meat, for us we quite enjoy the tender, boneless and meaty shark meat. This is not normal porridge, it is more like rice soup. This dish a little bit tasteless compare to Spicy Sour Vermicelli.

You must try their Belacan with small prawn, which is their special dish. It is the best to be eaten with tasteless sharp meat porridge because the belacan and spicy small prawn can boost up the tasteless porridge.

Our crunchy Deep Fried Calamari is fried so crispy and it come with homemade chili sauce. We order small plate but they are so generous with the portion.

How can you go to seafood restaurant without order Lala right? This is the best kam heong lala we ever tried. Totally big and fresh. We really enjoy and like all the dishes here. After our stomach are full, it is time to explore Sekinchan Town.

Tasik Biru or Blue Lake of Bukit Ibam - Muadzam Shah

What? Blue Lake in Malaysia? Yes there is, not one place but few places in Malaysia, and we managed to find this mysterious lake in Bukit Ibam and quite near to us.

I am stunned with this amazing scenic view of the Blue Lake. It is really, extraordinary blue. What makes this lake spectacular is the view of white clouds and surrounded by the old iron ore mines quarry walls and by green trees.

There are still some iron-ore mining and rock quarrying activities at this end of the lake.

This place is located in the middle of nowhere, but it's definitely worth the visit. Literally untouched by tourist and modernization. Perfect place to relax and snapping some photos to feed your Instagram and Facebook.
